Schedule of Services

  • Sunday Morning Adult Bible Study - 9:30 am

  • Sunday Morning Worship Service - 10:45 am

  • Sunday Morning Children's Church - Preschool to 6th Grade (Children are released for class after Special Music.)

 

News & Special Events

  • "The Christmas Story" is the theme for the Christmas Eve Candlelight service at 7 pm.

  • The Ladies Christmas Tea takes place on a Saturday in December from Noon to 2 pm.

  • Easter Week Services consist of Ash Wednesday, Holy Thursday, Good Friday Tenebrae, Sunrise, and Resurrection, plus a carry-in Ea.

  • "The Promised Land" is the current study for the Ladies Bible Study and Coffee Fellowship, which meets on Thursday mornings from 10 am to noon in the parsonage.

  • The Annual Turkey Dinner and Craft Sale has been canceled for the last couple of years due to Covid restrictions.

  • Themes are usually set for the monthly Birthday Luncheons.

  • Church Picnics are held at Testerman Park as the weather permits! 

  • The  Ladies' Spring Tea in May is usually well attended with members bringing family members and friends. Stories about our mothers and momentos are shared during the tea

  • The current Member Directory is on the table in the fellowship hall.

 

Donations

  • The mission focus changes each month and includes things like the Women's Abuse Shelter, Matthew 25, Back to School Bonanza, Global Smile Foundation, Wounded Wariors Project, and Samaritan Purse Christmas Shoebox.

  • Donations are always needed for the LaCroix New Testament Mission and the continuation of the LaCroix Honeybee  Project in Haiti.  

 

Missions

  • Our mission trips to Haiti have been canceled due to the unrest in the country! Photos of past trips are posted to our Facebook page.  Visit our page and check them out!

  • We now have four teams to provide meals to Bernie's Place.  

 

Groups

  • Adult Bible Study meets at the church on most Tuesdays at 7:30 pm and at Bernie’s Place one Tuesday a month.

  • Choir meets every other Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. for practice.   New voices are always welcome!

  • Ladies' Bible Study & Coffee Fellowship meets on Thursday mornings at 10 am for a time of sharing and study, along with coffee and sweets!

  • Men's Bible Study also meets on Thursday at 10 am for a study of God's Word.  Yes, they do have some coffee and donuts, too.

  • Walking Group continues to meet every Saturday at Noon.  If you are interested in joining them, they meet in the parking lot prior to their walk.

  • WOW Women's Group goes out to lunch on the 4th Sunday of each month.  All women are welcome and encouraged to participate!

 

Fellowship Meals

  • Birthday Luncheons are held right after the worship service on the 3rd Sunday of the month!  A theme is picked for each meal, and any main or side dish is welcome!

 

Meetings

  • Administrative Council meets in the fellowship hall on the 1st Monday of the month at 7:00 p.m.

  • Trustees meet in the fellowship hall on the 4th Monday of the month at 7:00 p.m.
