From the Parsonage…

 

           Although we haven’t actually moved in yet, I wanted to offer a little information about your new parsonage family and to tell you how much we are looking forward to becoming part of Maineville United Methodist Church! 

            First of all, Pastor Steve is a second career pastor, having worked in rotogravure printing prior to being called into ministry, and I’m currently an agent with Comey & Shepherd Realtors, in the process of retiring to be a full-time pastor’s wife.

            We’ve been married 42 years and are what is commonly called “empty nesters,” although we may enjoy occasional visits from three adult children, Mindy, Billy, and Stefanie, and three grandchildren, Kendal, Kyra, and Johnny.  I can honestly say that we are still each other’s best friend even after all these years!

            Music has always played an important part in our lives and actually brought us together in the first place when I needed a guitar player to accompany me for special music at the church we both attended.  Someone recommended Steve, and the rest is history!  We also enjoy reading, antique mall browsing, target shooting (mostly Steve), and our cottage on the Little Miami River.

            I’m excited at the opportunity to become an active part of the fellowship here and hope you’ll feel free to contact me so we can get to know each other!  I also want to extend a huge Thank You to everyone who took part in the updating of the parsonage.  I can’t wait to show it off!
