Maineville Lighthouse Church

 

          The Penny Fund is used throughout the year to purchase materials for Vacation Bible School, educational materials for Children's Church and Sunday School, or other needs of the littlest members of our congregation.

          This mission goes beyond our church walls, too.  We have used this fund to help feed the children of Haiti and purchase items for children residing at the Warren County Abuse Shelter, as well as other requests for any child who is in need. 

 

          During the month of a church member's birthday or wedding anniversary, he or she will donate change in the amount corresponding to the number of years to the Penny Fund.  For example, celebrating your 50th birthday?  Donate .50 cents.  Celebrating 10 years married?  Donate .10 cents.

 

          Of course, donations in any amount are always accepted and appreciated.  There is a donation box on the table in the church fellowship room for your contributions.
