Dear Lighthouse Church,

I hope this letter finds you in good health and high spirits during these dog days of summer. As you know, I was recently diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. While this news has been challenging to process, I am deeply moved by the overwhelming support and love I have received from each one of you. Your prayers, kind words, and gestures of support have been a source of strength and comfort to me during this time.
Jeremiah 29:11 tells us – “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” With this assurance, we can move forward with confidence and optimism, knowing that great things are ahead.
I am also delighted to see families coming together on our church grounds for movie nights, fellowship, and s'mores. These moments of joy and togetherness are precious, and they remind us of the importance of community and shared experiences. As we continue to grow and support one another, let us keep these values close to our hearts.
Our church has been experiencing remarkable growth, and it is heartening to see new families and visitors coming to worship with us. We are truly blessed to witness this expansion and the vibrant energy it brings. It is a testament to the faith and dedication of our congregation, and I am grateful for each and every one of you.
Thank you for your unwavering support and for being a part of this wonderful congregation. Let us continue to pray for our courageous leaders and for peace in our world. Together, we can face any challenge with faith and hope.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Pastor Eric
